Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN ED - Emergency Department to join our team. As a Travel Nurse RN ED - Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and education to patients and their families in a emergency department setting.
  • Assess and analyze patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic health conditions.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide acute care as needed.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  • Continuously improve nursing knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in emergency department nursing.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
