Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Dryden, NY. As a Groundsperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the plant areas, assisting with production, and performing maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant areas, including heavy lifting and shoveling
  • Assist with production and maintenance tasks
  • Perform heavy maintenance when required
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of general labor and maintenance experience
  • Prior experience working in a construction environment highly desired

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, squat, and perform repetitive motions. The employee must also be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
