Job Summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse 2 to join our team in the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit/Progressive Care Unit. As a Clinical Nurse 2, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and therapy
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations
  • Seek feedback and provide feedback for improved clinical practice
Requirements
  • 15 months minimum RN experience
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered Nurse - PA licensure
