Flanigan's is a renowned restaurant chain that prides itself on serving high-quality, made-from-scratch dishes to its customers. We are committed to providing an exceptional dining experience, and we are seeking a talented Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Prepare menu items according to Flanigan's company recipe manual and plate presentation to meet our high standards.
• Ensure rotation of all products and stocks products to par level to prevent kitchen disruptions.
• Assist with completing assigned prep work, stocking, and setting up stations as necessary to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
• Transport items to and from the kitchen, assist with unloading delivery trucks, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen area throughout the shift, and break down and clean all stations at closing.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our restaurant.
• Physically able to stand and walk 100% of the shift, and able to reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English, and able to read recipes and food labels.
• Able to safely use kitchen machinery, work with hot plates, pots, and pans, and work safely with sharp knives and utensils.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds several times per shift, and lift heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Ability to hold items weighing up to 5 pounds for long periods of time, and work in a high-temperature, damp environment indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Assist fellow employees with dishwashing and cleaning as needed, and complete and pass a food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes.
