Job Summary

The H&K Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Class A and B CDL driver to join our team. As a CDL driver, you will play a critical role in our heavy civil construction operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Load and unload materials and equipment, and secure them for transportation
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation schedules and logistics
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
Requirements
  • Class A or B CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work in a variety of weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement
  • Experience working in heavy civil construction or a related field
  • MSHA or OSHA certification
