Laundry Assistant

At Yona Solutions, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Transport laundry containers and clean linen carts to and from the laundry area.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers to ensure efficient and effective laundry processing.
• Sort and load soiled linen into washers and clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Fold and package clean, dry linen for distribution.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of linen inventory.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute customer clothing in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain equipment and the laundry area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock levels and notify supervisors of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions regarding cleaning compounds, liquids, and disinfecting solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.
