About Rise Baking Company

Rise Baking Company is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As an MRO/Parts Planner, you will be responsible for managing indirect purchase orders, tracking inventory, and maintaining maintenance supplies.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of stockroom experience and knowledge of CMMS systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance supplies by ordering, tracking, and placing purchase orders.
  • Investigate alternative suppliers for better quality and pricing on equipment spare parts, operational supplies, and other goods and services.
  • Coordinate with vendors to determine supply capabilities, transportation logistics, and delivery terms.
  • Notify supervisors regarding overdue materials and parts that may impact repair time frames.
  • Inspect tools and parts received, verify part numbers, and identify discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.
  • Record and maintain inventory of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed in the CMMS system.
  • Perform recordkeeping, filing, cycle counting, and year-end inventory audits.
  • Oversee the issue and return of parts and materials.
  • Organize the parts room for efficient storage and distribution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of stockroom experience; mechanical background preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; advanced skills in Excel preferred.
  • Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical degree in a maintenance related field, MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher, or refrigeration experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $25.50-$30.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location. Compensation may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
