Job Description

As an Armed Driver Guard with Loomis, you will be responsible for transporting cash and valuables between financial institutions, retail businesses, and our cash management centers. Your role will require you to work independently, ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive automatic armored vehicles on designated routes, servicing customer locations
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes
  • Load/unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins
  • Count items, record, and sign for cargo items

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required
  • Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Working Conditions:

As an Armed Driver Guard, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment, potentially exceeding 50 hours per week. You will spend approximately 90-95% of your time working within individual compartments (front and rear) of our armored vehicles.
