Position Summary:
- Execute welding tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Work Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts, providing a three-day weekend
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3 AM (includes a 10% pay differential)
- Initial Training on 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and layout tasks utilizing blueprints and schematics.
- Operate machinery for trimming, sizing, forming, inspecting, and welding materials.
- Perform welding in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and apply basic mathematical skills.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift weights between 25-45 lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- U.S. person status is required.
- Prior TIG welding experience is preferred but not mandatory.
