About the Role

Position Overview:

The Financial Systems Analyst will contribute to the advancement of Orchestrade through research, validation of development, and direct engagement with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discussions with clients to comprehend their business needs and the urgency of their challenges. Analyze market and client requirements by grasping the client's context and integrating it into Orchestrade's capabilities.
  • Examine issues raised by clients and compile an initial analysis. Identify the root causes of client challenges, which may involve debugging, to prepare a comprehensive development ticket. Communicate findings with developers to provide functional insights regarding changes or enhancements.
  • Develop test cases that encompass the client's scenarios, regression testing, and other potential scenarios that may arise for other clients.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and client project managers, including developers and quality assurance teams, to ensure timely delivery of development items to clients.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients. Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships by understanding their setup and operations while addressing client concerns and needs.
  • Ensure consistent delivery outcomes and adherence to ticket procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Support to guarantee that all tickets are resolved in accordance with client expectations.
  • Prepare internal documentation and comments for collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related STEM field.
  • One to three years of professional experience.
  • Familiarity with mathematics, finance, or financial engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming, preferably in C#/C/C++, though knowledge of other programming languages is also beneficial.
  • Understanding of application functionality and data management principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in data extraction, analysis, and logical problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and business acumen are essential.
  • Self-driven and capable of collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to explore new concepts and a desire to learn.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods at a desk with a computer monitor.

Work Environment:

Standard office setting.
