RN Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled RN Supervisor to join our team at Park Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Tyler, TX. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the care of our residents, supervising charge nurses and other caregivers, and ensuring that clinical systems and programs are functioning as intended.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluate staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide basic patient care or treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
- Receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders.
- Implement and evaluate care plans.
- Identify/secures equipment supplies.
- Direct/oversee subordinates.
- Participate in duty assignments.
- Organize/coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
- Oversee/monitor function and activities of subordinate staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
- Monitor's infection control compliance.
- Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
Requirements:
- Current, valid licensure as a RN in Texas is required.
- Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
- Management/Supervisory experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
