Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join its team on a per diem basis. As a member of our Cardiopulmonary Services Department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Promote healing and recovery in patients with cardiac or pulmonary conditions through the provision of respiratory care, diagnostic testing, and patient education.
- Collaborate with the Cardiopulmonary Services Department to enhance the efficiency and operation of the team.
- Perform diagnostic testing, including arterial punctures for blood gas analysis, and operate mechanical ventilators and bi-level ventilation equipment.
- Provide respiratory assessment and treatment to patients, including newborns to geriatric patients.
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner License in California.
- Current BCLS certification.
- PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
- ACLS certification recommended.
- Current NRP certification for NICU RCP.
- English fluency (written and verbally).
Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The current compensation range for this role is $XX.00 to $XX.00, and the exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire based on a range of factors, including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
