Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Private Duty LPN to provide high-quality care to patients in the Chalmette area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, as prescribed by the physician.
  • Record clinical and progress notes, and coordinate other patient care activities/services to provide the highest quality of patient care.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or designated supervisor.
  • Perform nursing activities within the scope of practice, as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing.
  • Document patient visits thoroughly and completely per regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Participate in the agency's care coordination process, including timely reporting of patients' needs and changes in condition.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
  • CPR certification.
  • At least one year of experience working as a LPN.
