Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist Inpatient to join our team at our Ventura, California facility. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction and oversight to our 17-bed inpatient unit, ensuring the highest standards of care and treatment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for adult and adolescent patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and individualized approaches.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our patients.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our program, including the development of new initiatives and the expansion of existing services.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in psychiatry.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of California.
  • Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting, with a focus on adult and adolescent care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
