We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with anxiety, depression, mental illness, and detoxification from alcohol and drugs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and management to patients on the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, counselors, and techs to coordinate care
  • Identify patient and family learning needs and develop an educational plan
  • Demonstrate effective verbal, oral, and written communication skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
