We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at our Amityville location. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the organization's mission to increase access to healthcare and improve community health.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in medicine, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for taking patient histories, performing exams, ordering diagnostic procedures, and providing counseling and education to patients.

Additional responsibilities include ordering lab work, drawing blood, and performing lab tests such as throat culture plates and wet prep microscopic exams. You will also prescribe treatment and medication following established medical protocols and consult with supervising physicians when necessary.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records is essential, as is following up on abnormal lab results and reporting incidents to management. Attending case conferences, continuing education programs, and quality improvement initiatives is also expected.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to provide safe and effective care, meet productivity and quality standards, and adhere to OSHA guidelines for infection control.

As a Physician Assistant at Sun River Health, you can expect a competitive salary range of $145,197 - 152,236 per year, depending on experience.
