Job Summary



We are seeking a skilled Hauling Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a Hauling Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities





  • Operate a heavy-duty truck in accordance with safety regulations and company expectations.

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, noting any issues or defects.

  • Report any unsafe situations or service calls to the Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.

  • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by the Route Manager.

  • Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.

  • Perform all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.

  • Notify the Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.

  • Notify Dispatch or Route Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.

  • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.

  • Completely dump all containers and leave the customer's location clean and free of debris.

  • Complete and submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.

  • Position containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.



Qualifications



The successful candidate will have a Commercial Drivers License B (CDL) and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field. A background check and motor vehicle record review will also be required.



The estimated salary range for this position is $26-$28 per hour, based on the expected base pay range for this position across the U.S.
