Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team as an MRI Technologist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Patient Care: Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality imaging services.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of MRI experience within the last three years; current KP Coalition employees may be exempt from this requirement.
  • Licensure: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required; Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MRI equipment and software, with ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
