Electrical Team Leader Opportunity
Location: Stocksbridge, UK

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our Crane Department team. As the Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled craftsmen and apprentices, ensuring smooth daily and weekly operations. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on cranes and other heavy machinery, minimizing downtime.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage a team of skilled craftsmen and apprentices.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on cranes and other heavy machinery.
  • Be proactive in identifying faults and developing innovative solutions to improve crane reliability.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained technician with substantial experience in electrical inspection, repair, and fault finding within a heavy industrial environment, particularly in crane maintenance.
  • Completed a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship (HNC preferred, but ONC or equivalent acceptable).

Competitive Salary: £43,268.24 (including shift allowance)
