We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Senior Lifestyle. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing quick, efficient, and pleasant service to our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Take food orders, communicate with the kitchen, and deliver food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding promptly to needs and requests.
- Actively bus and reset tables, as well as complete assigned side work.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards all residents, visitors, and co-workers.
- No prior experience is necessary, but previous food service experience is preferred. We will provide training.
- You will need to complete food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
- You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills are required for our POS system and payroll system.
- You should be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- You should be able to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- You should be able to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor towards residents and co-workers.
