As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered assessments and interventions to address various areas of speech, language, swallowing, oral motor, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in the field.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
