About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Waste Collection Specialist to join our team at Universal Waste Systems, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our clients receive timely and safe waste collection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive a refuse truck to collect trash, recycling, compost and/or mixed waste from designated locations.
  2. Follow established routes and schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.
  3. Communicate effectively with dispatch and route supervisors to coordinate service requests and respond to any issues.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • At least one year of experience driving a refuse truck
