Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center. As a member of our Ultrasound team, you will play a critical role in providing top-rated medical care to our patients.

• Perform a variety of technical procedures on both inpatients and outpatients, requiring responsible and independent judgment.
• Assume responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required.
• Assist with training, education, and orientation of staff and others.
• Recognize the purpose of employment as prioritizing the patient as number one, achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction, and providing utmost quality as a Sonographer.

• Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school in a related health field (i.e., Cardiovascular Technology) required.
• Two - three years of previous ultrasound experience required.
• Required to have a working knowledge of cardiac and vascular pathology.
• ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registered in either Echocardiograms (RDCS) (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)/ or Vascular Technology (RVT) (Registered Vascular Technologist) required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
