Food Service Courier

As a Food Service Courier with US Foods, Inc., you will be responsible for delivering food products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license and at least six months of commercial driving experience.

You will work closely with our logistics team to optimize routes and ensure timely and accurate deliveries. In addition to your driving duties, you will be expected to handle customer interactions, verify delivery accuracy, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
