Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with our organization's mission statement and established nursing care procedures. This position requires a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service to residents, family members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nursing care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with residents, family members, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Certified as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct care role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
