  • Perform requirements analysis and definition to ensure the system meets all customer requirements.
  • Participate in software design and development, as well as supporting system integration and test, using established Raytheon engineering processes and practices.
  • Support design, development, testing, and integration of hardware devices and registers.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplined team, providing mentoring and support to junior engineers.
  • Use modular design approaches and/or agile software development techniques for high-quality, supportable software systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software design, development, integration, and testing using C/C++ or similar.
  • Experience with real-time embedded microprocessor system development, system on a chip software design, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, signal analysis, and signal generation.
  • Experience in RHL 8.0/above.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required for a security clearance.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Docker Containerization.
  • Experience with embedded system concepts such as preemptive, multitasking real-time OS.
  • Possess skills to handle fast-paced and dynamic product development environments, including engagement with systems and electrical engineers.
  • Experience working closely and directly with customers.
  • Advanced signal processing and simulation.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is $77,000 USD - $163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
