The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care aimed at ensuring the comfort and health of patients. The RN administers prescribed medications, performs dressing changes, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs of patients. Furthermore, the RN meticulously observes and documents patient care, conditions, reactions, and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary nurse, associate nurse, team member, or team leader in the planning and execution of patient care.
- Implement and maintain safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to support staff within the department.
In our Medical Surgical Telemetry units, we cater to a diverse range of medical and post-operative surgical patients. Our facility is equipped to remotely monitor patients' telemetry status, ensuring that all Registered Nurses receive telemetry training and are ACLS certified. The fast-paced environment offers continuous learning opportunities regarding new disease processes, providing essential foundational knowledge for any nurse in an acute care setting.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Preferred one year of nursing experience.
- Current RN License in Texas.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire or transfer.
