Job Summary:

The Highlands at Owasso is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Aide to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with residents to maintain, improve, and enhance their quality of care and quality of life.
  • Provide, complete, and document resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attend and participate in facility in-service programs to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Practice good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests, including call light response.
  • Respect residents' rights, including privacy, dignity, and autonomy, when providing care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, other staff members, and management.
  • Assist residents with social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or indicated on the plan of care.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support residents' needs.

Requirements:

  • Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant.
  • Must possess good physical and mental health, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents who are partially or totally dependent.
