Position Summary
The Revenue Audit Manager is responsible for the meticulous reconciliation of assigned revenue and cost center documentation on a daily basis. This role involves reviewing reports generated by various departments to validate and confirm transactions, ensuring that all accounts are accurately reconciled. The individual will also verify cash holdings and bank deposits to maintain robust internal controls and adherence to established procedures. A high standard of guest service is expected at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Efficiently reconcile reported revenue or costs in a timely manner.
- Ensure comprehensive supporting documentation is available for all transactions.
- Prepare precise journal entries related to the audit area.
- Communicate any issues regarding internal control to upper management.
- Address and monitor issues promptly.
- Provide oversight and expertise in all audit functions.
- Become familiar with all procedures associated with assigned audits.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, fluctuations, or deviations, reporting findings to relevant personnel.
- Maintain a tracking system for issued and redeemed slips, coupons, etc., ensuring proper accountability.
- Strictly comply with confidentiality standards within the Finance Division.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Previous experience in casino gaming audit or non-gaming audit accounting is preferred. An associate degree in Accounting or two years of accounting/bookkeeping experience is advantageous.
Licenses and Certifications
The following qualifications are essential:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Mississippi Gaming License.
- Must undergo a Criminal Investigation Background check.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Gaming Regulations, Internal Controls, and Procedure Manuals.
- Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
