Delivering Exceptional Patient Care

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our Women's Services Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch care to patients in a high-acuity environment, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of laboring mothers.
  • Assist in delivery, including C-Sections.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting test and examination results.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians.

Requirements:

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure with active FL RN licensure within 60 days of hire.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
