Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the progress of labor and provide timely interventions as needed.
  • Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques to ensure patient comfort.
  • Support and educate mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care, promoting a smooth transition to parenthood.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Document all aspects of care accurately, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in labor and delivery or related areas such as Pediatrics, ER, or Primary Care.
  • Knowledge of fetal monitoring systems and ability to interpret data accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
