As a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Genie Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to expectant mothers during childbirth. Your expertise and compassion will contribute to ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience for both mother and baby.
Responsibilities- Monitor the progress of labor and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques to ensure patient comfort.
- Support and educate mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care, promoting a smooth transition to parenthood.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
- Document all aspects of care accurately, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in labor and delivery or related areas such as Pediatrics, ER, or Primary Care.
- Knowledge of fetal monitoring systems and ability to interpret data accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary of $2,241.00 per week.
