Key Responsibilities- Advise clinicians on complete and accurate outpatient documentation, including HCC capture.
- Function as a liaison between clinicians and coders to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Work as an expert source for information regarding the impact of documentation on patient care, quality outcomes measures, HCC risk adjustment, and reimbursement.
- Conduct pre and post-visit reviews of outpatient medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- 5 years of nursing, case management, utilization review, or quality resources experience in an acute care setting Preferred.
- Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required.
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist Preferred.
