Mechatronics Technician Job Overview

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a skilled Mechatronics Technician to repair complex electronic and mechanical equipment at the component level, develop intermediate products, and analyze warranty claims to identify root causes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Repair complex electronic and mechanical equipment and tooling at the component level.
  • Develop intermediate products and collaborate with customers to meet their needs.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 5-8 years of related experience and/or training, or 10 years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Work Environment and Compensation

The Mechatronics Technician will be required to stand, walk, and use hands/fingers to handle objects frequently. They will also need to climb, ascend/descend, or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear regularly.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
