Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the technical and administrative leadership of the Production Maintenance Team. This team is responsible for executing maintenance supporting Lilly Kenosha County site, plant, or flow, and ensuring consistent application of proactive maintenance and reliability programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety: Ensure that all team members are knowledgeable and compliant regarding safety procedures, policies, permits, and practices. Initiate and lead accident, near-miss reviews, and incident notifications. Ensure proper housekeeping procedures are maintained.
  • Quality: Responsible for team compliance and meeting quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality Standards, and local procedures.
  • Manage People Effectively: Responsible for managing daily maintenance operations across shifts up to 7 days a week, including attendance, overtime, operational issues, performance management, development planning, and reporting of results.
  • Maintenance Excellence:
    • Ensure quality of Maintenance Execution and RFU.
    • Responsible for Team Training and Development and ensuring team is current on training prior to assigning work.
    • Responsible for Maintenance KPIs associated with Team's performance.
    • Aligns Team Priorities to Support Production Plan.
    • Interfaces with customers to ensure alignment.
    • Completing weekly Practice vs Procedure Checks.
    • Reviewing a sampling of executed Work Orders.
  • Investigates Team deviations as needed.
  • Owns incident reporting, investigating, and corrective measures.
Requirements:
  • Adequate interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong computer skills in a variety of software packages (Excel, JMP, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely, and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Knowledgeable of Parenteral or Packaging Maintenance operations and processes or other GMP manufacturing experience.
  • Formulation, Filling, Device Assembly, or Packaging Knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with multiple levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, set objectives, and meet targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work without close supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving.
  • CMMS experience desired.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • Five years of manufacturing or maintenance experience in a leadership role.
Additional Information:
  • Position supports a 24/7 operation and is expected to be flexible in maintaining availability for support in decision making and issue resolution as necessary to operate the facility.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training, conferences, capital projects, etc.
