Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of optomechanical systems, including lasers, receivers, and sensors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and testing of systems
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in optomechanical engineering
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in optomechanical engineering, with a focus on dynamic systems
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, analysis, and documentation principles
  • Experience with state-of-the-art mechanical engineering development software tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with optomechanical design and development
  • Knowledge of MIL specs and standards, industry standards including ASTM, SAE, DO
  • Experience with ANSYS Workbench/Mechanical, PTC Creo, MATLAB/Simulink, Siemens NX, ANSYS Icepak
