Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facility Maintenance Associate is tasked with maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency within the facility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure daily sanitation of the warehouse, utilizing industrial cleaning equipment such as sweepers and scrubbers to maintain dust-free floors.
  • Collect and dispose of waste from the facility into designated dumpsters or compactors. Clean large trash receptacles as necessary.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of shelving units, walls, staircases, doors, and waste management equipment.
  • Compact excess cardboard using baling equipment.
  • Assemble boxes and assist with dock operations as required.
Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime and support various tasks within the facility.
  • Capability to work autonomously and within a diverse team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to and exceeding 75 lbs. Tasks include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and other physical activities.
