Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Veterinary Team Lead to join our team in South Austin. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a leadership role. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daytime nursing team, developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency and workflow, and collaborating with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daytime nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and workflow in the emergency department.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including treatment plans, medication administration, and lab results.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary and Benefits
