Housekeeping Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cleaning Professional to join our team at Springhill Suites Statesboro University Area.

The estimated salary for this role is around $$40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and common areas. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for replenishing supplies, cleaning bathrooms and floors, and ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

You will work closely with our front desk staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.

• Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, and furniture
• Replenish toiletries, soap, lotion, paper products, and other essential items
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and laundry facilities
• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra towels, pillows, or other amenities
• Work efficiently and effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
