Job Title: RN Registered Nurse Inpatient Surgical Telemetry- DAY SHIFT

Location: US:PA: Camp Hill

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: Day

Hours: 12 hour shifts

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse Inpatient Surgical Telemetry position at Penn State Health is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled nurse to join our team. As an Inpatient Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
  • Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • BLS required prior to orientation completion
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): Bachelor's degree in Nursing
