Position Overview

Ryder System Inc. is seeking a qualified Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Hartford, CT. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers.

  • We offer a competitive salary with the potential to earn $1700 or more per week.
  • Our drivers enjoy solo miles pay at $0.91 per mile, with an average of 1800 miles per week.
  • In addition to regular pay, you can also earn $22.55 per stop with up to 20 stops per week.
  • We provide paid training and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Job Responsibilities:

As a Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety standards.
  • Loading and unloading freight, as well as assisting in the loading/unloading process when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs throughout your route.
