Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product teams in an Agile framework to design application solutions that align with business goals.

Generate effort estimates for projects and change requests in accordance with the functional specification standards established by the application development team.


Create and execute unit and functional test plans, assist in the implementation of functional test plans, and validate test outcomes.

Ensure the application or product's availability for end users in line with Service Level Agreements.

Provide support for Service Restoration.

This encompasses investigating the causes of outages, assessing business impacts, and ensuring prompt problem resolution.

Oversee Applications in the Production Environment through both manual and automated monitoring.

Facilitate the deployment of application code enhancements to the production environment.

Communicate updates regarding application production changes and outages.

Maintain operational documentation for core business systems as assigned.

Respond to user inquiries to assist in diagnosing production system operations, data issues, and business process support.

Continuously recommend operational enhancements for production applications.

Availability for on-call support outside of regular business hours will be necessary.

Additional responsibilities and projects as needed.

Technical Skills Required:

4+ years of experience in Java development

4+ years of front-end development experience with ReactJS

Familiarity with Microservices (preferably Spring, Spring Boot)

RESTful Web Services

Unix/Linux scripting tools

Ability to write complex queries using MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL.

Hands-on experience with application design, software development, and automated testing.

Strong practical knowledge of Java/J2EE, XML, XPath, Web Services, and REST services

Development

Development Tools:
JBoss Studio, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Sublime, Bracket.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution

Additional 4+ years of experience in software development

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree
