Job Summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Technician Senior to join our team in Savannah. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians in the installation and testing of avionics and electronic systems.
  2. Conduct complex troubleshooting and repair of avionics and electronic systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  3. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  4. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of avionics and electronic systems.
  5. Perform self-inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in an avionics or electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
  • A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
