We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Christiana Care Health System. As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities- Participate in a 26-week fellowship program focusing on various surgical specialties.
- Provide detailed patient care in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient outcomes.
- Adhere strictly to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of operating room environments.
- Showcase excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and team members.
- BSN Preferred.
- Commitment to acquiring a BSN within three years of the date of hire can be considered with proven experience.
- Must meet one of the following:
- Two years experience as an RN (Prefer Med/Surg or Stepdown experience).
- Or at least two years experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist and successful completion of an RN program.
- BLS required:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Commitment to work following completion of the fellowship.
