Job Summary:The Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current State License.
- Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years required.
- Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment required.
- CCRN preferred.
- Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred.
