JGM Fabricators & Conductors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Foreman to join our team. As a Fabrication Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and leading a team of fabricators and operators.
Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Oversee the production process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of fabricators and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
- Safety Management: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, identifying and addressing any hazards or risks to employees and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available when needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, performing regular checks and addressing any issues.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a fabrication shop, with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 certification required, with OSHA 30 certification preferred.
The Fabrication Foreman will work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on safety and quality, is essential.
