Overview:
As the leader of the Quality Department at Enviro Systems Incorporated, you will oversee both Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure excellence in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the Quality Department, encompassing both Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
  • Guarantee that all products and services meet established technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the QMS.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry and regulatory certifications, such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Manage and execute a robust internal audit program for the QMS.
  • Facilitate customer quality audits and ensure timely follow-up responses.
  • Coordinate third-party compliance audits of the quality management system.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Engage in design reviews and production readiness assessments.
  • Oversee quality inspections for receiving, in-process, and final products.
  • Maintain all quality inspection tools, ensuring they meet calibration standards.

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace and product quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in structured problem-solving techniques, particularly in root cause analysis and defect mitigation.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, resource management, and employee development.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (10 years) in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance within the aerospace sector, including familiarity with AS9100 and FAA PMA/Repair Station standards.
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing context.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
  • Certified Manager of Quality.
  • Experience leading quality or technical teams.
  • Background in electro-mechanical design and manufacturing environments.
