Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Busser - Alaia. As a key member of our food and beverage service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Clean and set up tables, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Perform other food service-related duties, including general cleaning and setup, to maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Serve water, bread, and coffee, and greet guests by name whenever possible, demonstrating a personal touch and attention to detail.
  • Stack trays properly for efficient unloading and ensure proper safety standards at all times.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures and utilizing cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, speaking with others using clear and professional language, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats, standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps, reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
