Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care to patients, addressing their physiologic and psychosocial needs.
  • Administer treatments, including wound care, IV therapy, and tube feedings, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting, preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations and current federal laws.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
