Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care to patients, addressing their physiologic and psychosocial needs.
- Administer treatments, including wound care, IV therapy, and tube feedings, as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- One year of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting, preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations and current federal laws.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
