POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Retail Sales Representative is crucial in assisting Management to develop a sales-oriented culture that emphasizes customer engagement and product knowledge, ensuring a remarkable customer experience while maximizing profitability. Our teams strive to create an exceptional workplace for learning and career growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance

  • Achieves company sales objectives through effective sales techniques and by providing thorough product information to customers, helping them select appropriate items.
  • Stays informed about ongoing promotions and sales, ensuring compliance with pricing and visual presentation standards.
  • Manages merchandise operations, presentation, loss prevention, and fulfills all other tasks as directed by Management.
  • Contributes to visual merchandising efforts, including monthly store layouts and maintaining designated areas.
Customer Interaction
  • Embodies and promotes the principles of Outstanding Personal Service (OPS), delivering a seamless multi-channel experience.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout experience, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon validity, returns and exchanges, security measures, and other operational procedures.
  • Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including achieving targets for gift card sales.
  • Enlists customers in the loyalty program.
  • Builds and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized services and styling consultations.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with current product fits and style options available both in-store and online.
  • Maintains ongoing client engagement through the use of customer databases.
Operational Excellence
  • Assists with restocking to ensure the store remains well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Supports order fulfillment processes.
  • Helps with visual displays, including floor arrangements, window transitions, visual exhibits, signage placements, etc., under supervision.
  • Contributes to maintaining the boutique's cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth
  • Encourages a culture of inclusivity and collaboration in addressing challenges.
  • Seeks opportunities for personal development and actively requests feedback.
  • Undertakes any additional responsibilities as assigned.
This position may be available across various brands, with responsibilities subject to change based on the brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience in retail or sales is preferred.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to adapt and learn company-provided technologies.
  • Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and Management.
  • Punctuality is essential to ensure adequate coverage in achieving company goals. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Continuous walking/standing for a significant portion of an 8-hour shift.
  • Intermittent lifting of up to 50 lbs during an 8-hour shift.
  • Frequent climbing as part of the job responsibilities.
