As a Seasonal PRN PICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Louisiana or compact licensure.
- 1 year of acute care experience in PICU required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
